This cupboard is designed to hang on a wall. It appears to be a simple block, but when opening it the parts turns out to be a triptych with a multiform interior. The left side ‘doors’ consist of three parts and the right side four parts in various dimensions, which can be opened separately. The cupboard is particularly suitable to be left open. This piece of furniture has been made with the help of the CNC milling technique. The exact dimensions are: l360 x w216 x h594mm. It consist of thirty-three slices of 18mm birch plywood. It is always based on the same outer shape. In total nineteen main parts are required, made with a total of one hundred individual parts. Magnets have been included in the plywood inversely, so that the rotating parts remain shut in a closed condition. The hinges are invisible when the cupboard is closed.
